Today's Red House Book event went really well and was enjoyed by all who attended.
At storytime the children heard all 4 books short listed for the younger children category, and voted for their favourite. The favourite today was How to hide a lion by Helen Stephens, which was good as then the children made their own lion masks.
The Reading Gang didn't have time to read all 3 of the books for the young reader category, but those children who had read them at home had a chance to vote. The whole gang had a look at the Land of Neverbelieve by Norman Messenger. They then worked together to make their own book all about Book Group Bonkers Land, a name they choose by voting.
Two lucky children one a set of the short listed books in the raffle.
